What a range cooker clean covers

A range cooker is several appliances in one frame. You may have two or three ovens, a grill, a warming compartment and a hob. Each part collects grease in its own way. Because of this, we treat each part separately.

Our process, step by step

First we cover your floor and worktops. Then we remove all loose parts, such as shelves, trays, burner caps and trivets. While these soak in our heated tank, we clean the cavities by hand. We work through the ovens one at a time.

Next, we clean the hob area. Gas ranges have burners that clog with spilt food, so we clear each burner port. On electric and induction ranges, we focus on the plates and the glass. We take care around the controls, since water and grease do not suit them.

Finally, we clean the doors and seals, then refit the parts. We test each oven door and burner before we leave. You then see the result with us. A range cooker often looks new again after a full clean.

What affects time and price

A range cooker clean starts from £90. The price grows with the size of the range and the number of cavities. A five-burner range with two ovens and a grill takes longer than a compact one. Heavy carbon in the grill also adds time.
